When do 1st Goresbrook Fields meet?
Our company is split into four sections and meet weekly on Wednesday evening, during school term time.
What do you do?
Every company evening is planned with the aim to make it as enjoyable and as much fun as we can for the relevant section.
Each boy undertakes badge work which leads to them earning at least one award at our annual display.
The types of badge work available includes, fitness, craft, people in our community, bible study and much, much more.
We also play games and make time for socialising. The older boys also work towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
How much does it cost?
We ask boys for a weekly subscription of 50p. Every November we have Brigade week, which encourages boys to raise money to cover their annual membership fee and towards the annual cost of running of the company.
What do you wear?
We are a uniformed organisation, which encourages the boys to work as a team and gives them a sense of belonging. We issue uniform order forms to boys once they have settled into our company.
